Editorial Policy: Earned Recommendations, No Paid Placements

BeautyLuxa’s editorial independence is the whole point of the site. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, on every page we publish.

Our editorial rules

• Recommendations are earned, not bought. No brand can pay to be placed, ranked or described favourably on BeautyLuxa. Affiliate commissions never change our recommendations; how that money side works is set out in our affiliate disclosure.
• Accuracy over completeness. Where a detail cannot be confirmed from the brand or a reliable source, we leave it marked as unconfirmed rather than publish a guessed number.
• Clear reasoning. Every pick states why it was chosen, what it does well, where it falls short, and who should skip it.
• Corrections in the open. When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and update its date; we do not quietly delete mistakes. See our corrections policy.

• How pages stay current: Products, prices and availability change, so pages are revisited over time, and the updated date on a page changes whenever its content does.
